The Power of a Road

I have not always been a runner but I have found a passion for it in the last 8 years, and today I remembered why...  I get on my running shoes and my head phones and its just me and the road...  No gossip, No kids, No Stress, No "To Do List" there is nothing but me and the road...  The road never talks back it just listens as I beat my feet against its pavement and automatically it has brightened my day, no matter what is happening in my life the road makes it all go away and for an hour a day I am a free spirited child running as fast as I can with my arms whaling about...  I am a RUNNER and this is why...
