Lifes Hard Lessons

So I learned a hard lesson this week!  I learned that I need to be superwomen all the time!  No if, ands or buts about it!  Just because you have family and friends doesn't mean you can count on them to save the day or save you when you are falling!  Jared is out of town for work like he usually is every summer and usually I have no problem being super mom and running on coffee and 4 hours of sleep everyday but this week I could just not pull it together!  I called Jared in tears several times looking for some inspiring words or a little bit of understanding!  Instead I got "You just have to SUCK IT UP"  I love Jared dearly but sometimes he just sucks and I know he is out there working is ass off to provide for us but I wish he was a little more sympathetic and appreciative of how hard I work...   Since I could not count on Jared I looked toward family and friends to have my back and help me and all I got was more tears...  I know they have their own life and own priorities but in my time of need I assumed they would be there to catch me, that was my mistake, I assumed!  So after many tears, and many phone calls to Jared I came to the conclusion I have to be Superwomen all the time and I just have to suck it up!  The only person I can rely on is myself! On a Happy Note:  I am glad that I learned this lesson early on in my marriage and now I know what to expect out of people and I know what is expected out of me as a wife, friend and mother! 

Thank You Life for throwing me a curve ball and from now on I will not Strike Out!
