3 Crazy Boys and Me: Sharing A Room

Somethings you just can't control! I love my house, it's very homey and comfortable but it only has 3 bedrooms! Treycen and Aiden have their own rooms and it has worked just great until recently, both of the boys have so many toys that I find myself constantly picking up their toys that are sprung from room to room, and knowing that we will not be moving into a bigger house for at least 5 years I decided there has to be an easy solution? I need a TOY/PLAY room! But I only have 3 bedrooms and they are all being occupied! What to do? I then had a crazy idea! Why can't the boys share a room? I shared a room until I was 16... I know its a little too early to make Treycen sleep in the same room as Aiden since Aiden is still not sleeping through the nights! But I decided that was a battle I was willing to fight, it might take the boys a week or so to sleep through the night and feel comfortable in sharing a bedroom! So my great plan was put into action, after a whole day of cleaning and moving everything out of Treycens room into Aidens room, I now have a huge Toy Room with a TV, games, and all the toys we own! Treycen and Aiden love the new Toy room and I love not having to constantly pick up after them! The first night of Treycen sleeping in Aiden's room was a success, both boys slept all night and I thought yay this is going to work out perfectly! Jared has been out of town for work all week so he had no idea what I had done until he came home last night! He was a little upset, he didn't think it was fair that Treycen has to sleep in Aiden's room cause Aiden would wake him up every night but I told him they did fine and it was not a problem at all and he would see how awesome my little plan was! Go ME Right? Well last night Aiden woke up at 1:00am and cried/screamed for an hour and poor Treycen just layed there in his bed eyeballing me like Mom make Aiden Shut Up! After fifteen minutes of me bouncing and cradling Aiden he finally fell back to sleep and so had Treycen! I crawled back into bed around 2:30am and Jared says to me "So maybe your plan wasn't so awesome after all" GRRRR I told him to "SHUT IT" and it might take some time for them to get use to the idea but I am not giving up my Toy Room! I am so sad that the one night Jared is home my plan back fires in my face! But like I said I am not giving up my toy room and the boys will just have to figure it out! I know Aiden will eventually sleep all night, I mean I just broke him off the bottle a week ago, give him a break and as for Treycen its just payback for all those years he woke me up at 1 and 2 in the morning wanting a glass of water or the TV on!

Here's to hoping we don't have another night like last night or Jared just might make me switch everything back!
