Christmas Tree Tradition

Every year Jared and I head out to Pine Valley in search of the perfect Christmas Tree, it has become one of our favorite traditions...

 

This is Jared's and my 6th year and Treycen's 4th year...  We have yet to take Aiden with us, we really wanted to take him this year but we decided he was still too little to keep warm so he stayed in the cozy warm house with grandma Buoy...  Hopefully next year Aiden will be able to join in on the tradition...

It has become such a fun event that we always invite our friends to come along...  Usually Carl and Valerie come with us but this year they were unable to make it... (We Missed Them) 

But lucky for us Jace and Kate came and we had a great day playing on the mountain... 

We managed to find 3 trees and I am proud to admit that this is my first year to find OUR tree!  Every year Jared spots the perfect tree but not this year...  It was all me!  Yes I am AWESOME! 

We had to pack 2 Christmas Trees off the mountain, our tree and the Buoy's tree since Jared refuses to let his mom have a fake tree, he says if she ever has a fake tree then he is with holding his boys from coming to her house for Christmas...  Yes it means that much to him! 

 Treycen had so much fun playing in the snow...

Jared got the 4 wheeler stuck at least 3 times, in which I had to get off and hike in 3 feet of snow!

We had a fun day on the mountain and we can't wait to put up our tree...
