Play Dates

Last Summer I was always so jealous of all the moms at the parks who had 1-2 girlfriends just sitting and chatting watching their kids play... I always sat at the park by myself with a book and thought I wish I had friends to talk to and have kids that Trey could play with... I asked my sister how come all these moms have friends? And how do i do that... She told me, " go to church or get involved in something where you can meet other moms and then you can have play dates like that too. I was like no, I am not an outgoing person, I can't just make new friends; girls are so intimidating. Well this summer I decided I was going to be one of those moms with play dates everyday... Mission accomplished.... (Thanks to Jared's friends wife's) Today I had two play dates planned. Splash Park and Washington Rec. Treycen and Aiden were such troopers. Treycen crashed the moment we got home, swimsuit and all... I am finally one of those moms with all the friends and I am loving it... Thank you to all my friends and their amazing kids, we have had the best summer...
