Kacey and I ran a 5k on Saturday for the fight against Breast Cancer! It was Kacey's first race and she ran like a champ, I wanted to stop and walk after the first mile but her "Go Getter" attitude whipped my ass into shape and we finished in 36 minutes... It felt so good to be running for a great cause and I loved that Kacey was running with me, I think I have my new running partner! This will be a race we do together every year!
Of course we had to take lots of pictures! It just wouldn't be the same if we didn't!
I got the best surprise as I crossed the finish line! There were my 3 boys cheering me on! I was so happy that Jared and the boys came out to support me and I think I have Jared excited to run it with me next year! It was a great Saturday morning and thank you Kacey for being the best running partner!
And thanks to my boys for making my day 10x more special!
