Locked In

I am writing you this lovely post from inside my locked bedroom, yes its been one of those days, weeks actually and its only Wednesday...  I love my little munchkins but I am in serious need of a looooong Break!  Jared has been gone for 4 months and I have been little miss mother hen....  My day goes something like this:

Wake up to Treycen jumping on top of me screaming at the top of his lungs "Mommy get up its blue Sky's" then he rushes in to wake up Aiden... Really ? Why does he feel the urge to wake up my happy sleeping baby, just because he is up does not mean the whole neighborhood has to be awake as well, it really infuriates me...

Then its off to make breakfast, Aiden has a very hard time leaving the un eaten food on the table, no he pushes it to the floor instead, GRRR; most mornings its not so bad, but this morning he got a hold of Treycens cereal bowl and yes it hit the floor with a shattering bang and milk went everywhere!

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Treycen and I get into a yelling match as I ask him nicely to get dressed and ready for school...  He fights me like I just asked him to throw away all of his toys....  After 20 minutes, he then starts to fight me as I try and spike his hair so he does not look like orphan Annie...  All this time trying to get Treycen ready for school Aiden has found something to tear apart or climb onto...

My whole day pretty much consists of cleaning up some mess or another and having yelling matches with Treycen...  I miss my parenting partner!  Yes they will continue to make messes and I will continue to clean them up but at least I will have another helping hand...  I love you Jared for working long days and most weekends but its time for you to throw back on your daddy hat and help me before this door permanently stays locked with me in it....

Thank Heavens he will be home tonight and every night from now on and if he thinks he will be sitting back playing the xbox while I tame the rug rats he is in for some rude awakening!  Happy Thanksgiving and I am very thankful to have my hubby home!
